The connection between a browser that allows managing multiple profiles and a reliable proxy is fundamental for several reasons. The main advantage is the enhanced security when managing different accounts, along with the proxy that acts as a shield between the device and the internet. This security layer is particularly valuable when dealing with restrictions and while managing multiple profiles simultaneously.
In this guide, we will explain in detail how to set up the PIA Proxy in the Lauth browser.
1. Create an account or log in to PIA Proxy
If you don’t have an account yet, simply access the PIA Proxy website and create your account by clicking the ‘Create Account’ button in the top right corner of the screen. Or, if you’re already a customer, log in by clicking “Sign In”.
2. Complete the Download
At the top left corner of the screen, click on ‘Download‘ and save it to your computer, selecting your operating system beforehand.
In the app itself, you can select the best proxy plan for your structure and purchase it.
3. Set up your proxy
On the left corner of the screen, click on “Proxy List” and access the list of available proxies for purchase. Fill in the requested details such as: proxy type (we recommend choosing between mobile or residential), country, city, and others.
4. Select a port
Select the previously acquired and configured proxy, click on “Forward proxy to port” and finally on “Port Forward List” to forward this proxy to your port list.
5. Copy the settings and paste them in to Lauth
Access your list of proxies and copy the data, as shown below, then paste it into Lauth.
6. Create an account or log in to Lauth
If you’re already our client, start your browser by logging in. Or create your first profile in moments through our Lauth website.
7. Activate proxy browsing
- Click on “Connection and Proxy” on the left sidebar of the browser.
- You’ll find a button labeled “Browse using a proxy.”
- Turn on this switch to enable proxy browsing.
With the proxy information you copied from PIA Proxy previously, paste it into the appropriate fields here, as demonstrated below:
8. Save your proxy settings
To make it easier to use, give your proxy a personalized name in the “Proxy Name” field. Additionally, enable the button labeled “Save proxy to my proxy list.” This action will save the proxy to your list, allowing you to select it directly next time without needing to reconfigure it.
Your setup is ready!
Go back to the browser’s home page, and you can start using the proxy to browse the internet, ensuring the security and stability your structure deserves. If you want to check your proxy details, you can visit websites like “iphey” to verify your connection.
