As discussed earlier, when you reach a point where your setup requires new profiles to continue your scale and contingency, acquiring new profiles becomes an important step. It’s worth emphasizing that the quality of these profiles also carries significant weight, especially in the long run.
You can purchase from third parties, acquiring a pre-established, warmed profile—take care to select a reputable provider; it’s crucial that this profile has no prior negative associations with the platform where you intend to advertise.
Alternatively, creating a profile from scratch is our main focus for today’s discussion. This way, you’re aware of the origin and quality of what you’re working with, but it will certainly require more time, as it’s predominantly a manual process.
When creating a profile, you’ll need to pay attention to several key aspects: the device, behavior, profile photos, two-factor authentication, and verification documents. Let’s delve a bit into each of these topics.
1. New Unique Device for Each Profile
A device is the means through which you access a particular profile, such as your computer, phone, or notebook. In a world without Lauth, you would essentially need a new computer for every profile you create. Can you imagine?
But don’t worry, we’re here precisely to address that challenge. We’ve created a ‘virtual machine’ with unique and isolated data for each profile you add within the browser. In other words, when you create a new profile in Lauth, it’s as if each one is being created from a new machine.
2. Connection and Network Data
Your computer and your original internet network have an identification number, called an IP address. This means that even if your profiles are connected to Lauth, they all share the same IP.
This information also needs to be disguised. You can do this by integrating a proxy into Lauth or by accessing the browser through a 4G network by tethering from your mobile device (read our articles for more details about connections). Therefore, when creating a new profile, ensure that you are using a proxy or the 4G network to prevent any data overlap from your base.
3. Portray Yourself as a Regular User (Warm Up the Browser)
Advertising platforms track your information even before you have an account through codes (Pixels) implemented on third-party websites with one purpose: capturing data and understanding your behavior.
Therefore, before accessing the site where you want to create a new account, or even while accessing it… Browse through major sites like Magalu, Americanas, Casas Bahia, Mercado Livre, G1… that are full of ‘trackers’ aimed at sending signals to the pixel through your new browser and device.
This is important so that Facebook understands that you’re not using a ‘new computer’ solely for advertising purposes or to bypass any steps, but rather, you’re just a new regular user interested in using the platform and perhaps advertising.
4. Creating the New Profile
As you’re aware, you can use an email address for profile creation or a phone number for verification through SMS or a phone call. Typically, phone numbers have a higher reliability rate with platforms.
For this, you can use Brazilian services like ‘Receber SMS,’ ‘Números Virtuais,’ or a Russian service that provides Brazilian numbers like ‘SMS.ru.’ You can also use them to authenticate a new account in email services.
Alternatives to major email services: Some services like Proton Mail, Yandex, work, but an email from a more well-known provider will still be more reliable in the eyes of Facebook.
Another option for the profile creation stage
We might consider it a more laborious practice, but creating a profile through an Android Desktop emulator can be an interesting possibility.
What’s the advantage of this? Creating an account on a mobile device can make your account seem authentic and less prone to errors, as it reduces the need to access multiple sites, and let’s be honest… this is how most accounts are created. This can help you start the profile while avoiding an initial red flag (afterwards, you can obviously migrate it to Lauth).
5. Profile Picture and Account Contents
Facebook was initially created for photo postings, and, of course, your profile will also need them. You can use sites like Generated Photos (Paid), This Person Does Not Exist, or platforms like VK to generate photos and content for your profile.
Exercise caution when selecting photos directly from sites like Google Images. Thousands of other people might be using the same photo, or it could be an actual person, which can lead to complications for you.
Important note: to avoid directly sending files from these sites, take a screenshot or send the photo to yourself on WhatsApp and save it again (this helps to edit the file’s metadata for this photo).
6. Two-Factor Authentication and Documentation
After a few days of warming up the profile, activate two-factor authentication. You can do this using SMS methods (to collect a list of codes) or apps like Authy or DUO. This practice gives you a certain level of reliability with platforms and offers greater control over everything.
At some point, especially during the creation of your first Business Manager or when attempting to promote content, proof of identity will be requested. You can use your own, for example.
Some crucial points to consider:
- Avoid creating accounts with names, emails, and passwords that are too similar. Platforms might interpret this as accidental or mass account creation based on your user behavior.
- Avoid using other Meta Group apps while creating profiles.
- An interesting practice is to create accounts on other external apps through the ‘log in with Facebook’ button.
- Prefer creating female profiles as they usually facilitate engagement and interaction with others.
Is that all? Almost.
It may seem complex (and it certainly is) but after all these steps, comes the stage of warming up this profile. Follow the same care and caution about appearing as an ordinary user and avoid behaving like a ‘human robot’ who knows what they’re doing and is acting en masse. Learn more about this in an article that also discusses user behavior.
You need to appear as just an ordinary user getting to know the platform. Continue browsing external sites, observing content in groups, feeds, asking for information in the marketplace, and interacting on Messenger with these or other people.
All these points will enhance your experience in creating profiles and make your accounts increasingly resilient.
